Fab demo, phone low on power

I'm sitting in an easyEverything near Queen St Station after a fab anti-war demo near the SECC. My phone is almost entirely out of power, so if you have to reach me, text me, don't use voice. Or post in this LJ, I'll be reloading.

The figures I heard were 97,000 for our demo, and 1.5M for the one in London, making it I think the biggest demo ever in British history. I can't wait to hear the total worldwide sum of people demonstrating all over the world today.

Meeting Sandy later (under the clock at Central Station, 1720), he was on the demo but we didn't manage to meet up, voice calls were impossible and texts took literally hours to arrive.

You didn't see my Dad, by any chance?

(I haven't had the chance to ask him if he actually went on the demo in the end. :o) )

My friend tells tales of a cute Edinburgh goth with long black hair and a stripy red and black jumper she saw whilst at the march...
