Obsessive tweaking...

This week, I have mostly been obsessively tweaking my accounts program, so it displays "(£4,024.11)" instead of "-4024.11". If the number of pence is fractional, it rounds it to the nearest pence and writes "~£4,024.11". If it's zero, it displays "£0" rather than "£0.00" to highlight the fact.

Some of these changes were necessary to get the BiCon accounts online. Others were just because I kept seeing ways it could be made slightly nicer. I think it is now slightly nicer, but it's time to stop.

In other news, Bernstein's variant of the Rabin-Williams signature scheme is incredibly neat and the clear best choice if you need fast signature verification. I understand Rabin - if only I could figure out Rabin-Williams...

Well you just need to start off with the cross-dressing family adventure 'Mrs Doubtfire' and then it will all fall into place.

(*tumbleweeds*)

ARRRRRGHH! You have my full permission to beat me/remove from friends list/roast me in my goose fat for that one.

I'm so sorry but I have to press submit!!

It's OK, I ws tempted to make a very similar crack... something along the lines of 'it all makes more sense if you watch Mork and Mindy'

You're so geekish

Jeez, paul! That's so spottily geekish. Don't you ever feel like walking away from your computer and getting some sex? Oh no! Wait a minute. You do! Damn! There goes my hastily constructed argument...

:-)
