Long-term scheduling

I didn't do a schedule on Friday because I have no schedule. In fact, my return from London marks the end of what has probably been the busiest spell of my entire life, starting near the end of March including travel to Tokyo, Hannover and Venice as well as Whitby and two trips to London, one longish. For once, my calendar is empty save for Bicon (remember to book!)

But here's some things that should be in my future:

  • Go to Berlin

There's only so much you can do by email, especially when you're starting a project and you have different native languages. I need to go to Berlin and understand what's going on with the project I've been assigned.

The cheapest way to do this seems to involve flying to Stanstead on Go and thence to Berlin on Buzz. This being so, it might make a lot of sense to try and visit one or both of London and/or Cambridge on the way - perhaps one one way and the other the other. The Calling is on the 26th June and 10th July...

I mailed work on Friday afternoon to ask when and how I should get there, so I'm waiting for a response on that.

  • Visit to London

I said I'd try to visit London about every six weeks. Six weeks from my last visit takes me to the weekend of 20-22 July, which by a weird coincidence is when SM Pride is happening. I've only ever missed one SM Pride so I think I'd quite like to go. Of course I might also visit London on my way to/from Berlin if that works out.

  • Visit from Laura

who is in Leeds at the moment. Hopefully we'll get to hook up by 'phone and sort out when she might visit.

  • Visit from [livejournal.com profile] gothslut

Not for three or four weeks at least - [livejournal.com profile] gothslut's course has just finished and her diary has filled up. Scheduling is just the bane of the poly lifestyle, isn't it? Still, that's why I'm writing this entry...

  • Visit from [livejournal.com profile] kitty_goth

Hello darling, you were talking about visiting in London, I suspect your calendar is not quite as empty as mine so I'll leave the timing of this one to you...

Not that you're likely to be short of crash space in Cambridge, but assuming that I'm still living there when you pass though on the way to Stansted you're welcome to stay.

I expect I know at least one other person who'd be keen to come up and visit you in Edinburgh, although her calendar's booked up until at least September.
