Not the bloody War on Christmas again

there was a banner saying Merry Christmas across the front of the council house, Christmas lights, Christmas trees in the main civil squares, regular carol-singing sessions by school choirs, and the Lord Mayor sent a Christmas card with a traditional Christmas scene wishing everyone a Merry Christmas

Yesterday's Evening Standard made me very grumpy. I held it up in the office, pointed to the headline, and said 'Ah, shit - there goes our plan to abolish Christmas, then!'

But then - as you'll have gathered from my recent posts - I think that the Pope is one of the utterly worst things about contemporary Christianity.
